The Flathead Valley in Montana serves up LeftOver Biscuits, a
five-piece band who performs both traditional bluegrass and "grassed-up"
popular tunes. This foot-stomping group, with two lead singers and tight
harmonies, keeps audiences entertained and amused.
Leftover Biscuits has been invited to appear again this year at the 14th
Annual "Bitterroot Bluegrass Festival" in Hamilton, MT. This marks the fifth
year the group will perform in the Kalispell Parks Department’s "Depot Park
Music Series", as well as in the "Summer Concert Series" at Sliter Park in
Bigfork, the Big Mountain "Summit" Series in Whitefish, and the "Summer
Evenings" Concert Series in Columbia Falls. |

Playing mandolin and
bouzouki with a discreet rhythm and distinctive picking style is
CHAD FADELY.
Chad plays with
several bluegrass groups in western Montana and we’re glad to have him with
us. |
| |
Singing lead and harmony
when he’s not fishing is guitarist
JIM STICKA.
With an
easy-listening tenor voice, he compliments the music with a variety of
picking styles. |
| |
Playing bass and singing
harmony vocals is
DOYLE WELLS.
With a steady
hand, Doyle keeps the "Biscuits" train on the tracks. |
| |
Fiddler
PAUL SEBESTA
plays
anything from Bach to bluegrass.
When Paul cuts loose on his Montana made fiddle you can’t help but grin. |
| |
And last, a founding member
of "Leftover Biscuits" is
RUDY URBAN,
banjo
picker. The "story teller" sings lead on many of the traditional
bluegrass songs
and a few "Old Hippie" tunes as well. |
