Kids Music Program

 

 

Hey Kids, bring your bluegrass instruments and participate in our Kids Music Program.

 

Young people up to 18 years of age are invited to perform in a special youth music program with the following guidelines:

 

Requirements

1.      Any age up to 18 years.

2.      If playing an instrument it must be an acoustic string instrument.

3.      Songs and instrumental numbers should be in the bluegrass style.  Rock & Roll, Blues, etc. will not be permitted.

4.      There is no age restriction for persons providing accompaniment as long as the featured performer meets the 18 year age limit.

5.      If a young person plays an acoustic bass, they may perform by providing accompaniment for an older individual.

 

Schedule

1.  The program will be scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday afternoon on the main stage.

2.      The number of songs each person or group will be permitted to perform will be from 1 to 3 depending on the number of performers who sign up.

3.      Signup will take place on Saturday at the festival.
